Advantages and Disadvantages of Planning
Even though planning is very important in achieving the objectives of organizations, it also has its disadvantages.
Firstly, the advantages of planning are, the employees will be hard working as they are aware of the directions that need to be achieved. As the planning involves a specific time period and managers are well aware that the objectives will be archived when the time comes. As a result, managers and the employees will work more enthusiastically throughout the period of achieving that objective. With the panning, everyone in the organization knows the objectives, and will be working towards the same direction. When a senior manager sets an objective, the managers automatically starts to establish strategies of achieving that objectives. Planning has a positive impact on both the organization and the individuals. It helps the organization grow and expand while performance of the individuals will improve because of the objectives and work strategies.
On the other hand, there are not much disadvantages but it could have negative impact on the organization. As plans some plans are made for a specific time period, existing plans needs to be updated. This would lead to employees to change the strategies as they will be no longer suitable. This could cause an implementation failure in the present plans. Usually plans are made on the assumptions of future occurrence. If the forecast made is wrong, then the planning made based on that assumption will fail in the end. Planning is done by top-level managers whilst its implementation is carried out by the employees at the lower levels. Sometimes the top level manager is not directly involved in the operations division. As a result, they do not know in detail the capability levels and restrictions faced at the operation level, resulting in unsuccessful planning.

However, technology won’t stop here, but develop further. As technology develops, there are not only advantages, but disadvantages from them. A few advantages of upgraded technology are that one can save time and money and life will be made easier as a result of not having to do all the hard labor. In contrast, the disadvantages of upgraded technology are that people will loose their jobs to machines that will do the work for them. In addition, machines and robots are too complex for most people to use. I personally would want a developed world with advanced technologies. The following are the reasons why I do want a more advanced world with advanced technologies. My major reason is because when you have advanced technologies, life is much easier as robots and machines would take over your daily life chores. For example, daily life chores might be serving your breakfast, cutting your lawn, or cleaning your room. With robots and machines doing one’s chores one has time to relax. Another reason is because unlike humans, robots and machines do not make mistakes when programmed correctly. They always accomplish tasks perfectly so you won’t have to worry about making a mistake and getting trouble. Other reasons why I want......

There are three main business structures in which entrepreneurs must establish their business. The following paper will detail the three business structures along with the advantages and disadvantages that each hold. Sole Proprietorships The first and most simple form of a business is a sole proprietorship. Within this form of business structure, the owner usually owns and manages all aspects of the business. Additionally, taxes are not paid on a sole proprietorship as a company; instead the owner pays taxes off of the income that is received from the business. Advantage and Disadvantage of Rh Bill

...Advantages and Disadvantages of RH BILL The statement that reproductive health means "free sex, use of contraseptives, abortion if contraception fails." is not found anywhere on that bill. Use of contraseptives, yes, but free sex and abortion if contraception fails?! If you have read the bill, that'sdefinitely putting words into the authors' mouth. The word "prevent" is not synonymousfor "killing" the catholic church stand for using this method shows that using this methodof preventing is a way killing one's life, they say that sperm and egg cells are the victimof this method, but they doesn't have a life yet they are only a part of a humans' lives,so if they are saying that contraception can "kill" those cells then I consider that allteenagers, young adult, adult or even some of the elderly males are "killers" because itis a nature and normal for the males to "masturbate" and if the orgasm occur the semenwill ejaculate from the males reproductiveorgan and the one content of semen aremillions of sperm cells and in a matter of seconds the sperm cell will die if they areexposed to air, so we kill millions of it and "killing" is a mortal sin. "Killing" is only whenthe two cell are develop and formed as fetus then you terminate it and try to removefrom your womb, that is already "killing" and it is called "Abortion." The advantages of the RH Bill include the couple's choice in the number of children they may like; theselection of the family planning method they will use; and......

Advantages and Disadvantages of Franchising

...understandable issue. However we can identify and summarize the possible responses putting in evidence all economic advantages for the franchisor. In this instance, he can extend and increase his units thanks to the investment risk assumed by other parties in the host country. One of the main financial benefits includes the fact that the franchisor gains from additional incomes such as franchisees fees and on-going royalties. This increase of capital improves profits and return on investments. McDonalds, for instance, sell their name for $1,800,000 a piece. This is huge for the franchisor because for every new McDonalds they open they make a profit from the name and products they sell to the franchisee and also have a stake in the profits that the franchisees make (AssociatedContent, 2010). Another financial benefit is the reduced operating, distribution and 1 advertising costs. This, in turn, will mean more funds will be allocated for research and development. The key operational benefit is the ability for the franchisor to have a far smaller centralized headquarter, compared to having to owning many business locations and developing then into franchisees. Moreover, the management can ensure conformity across the company, through the use of standardized procedures achieving consistent outcomes, greater productivity levels and better quality results. Advantages and Disadvantages of Pursing an Mba

...Advantages and Disadvantages of Pursuing an MBA Advantages and Disadvantages of Pursing an MBA The decision to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration is a difficult, personal decision. In fact, I categorize it as a life changing decision. For instance, this decision is like most major decisions people make. Whether the decision is over buying a home, changing careers, starting a family or buying that dream car, it is usually laced with advantages and disadvantages, pros and cons, and benefits and consequences. Whether or not those advantages and disadvantages are tangible, quantifiable and measurable, most would agree that they exist and they sometimes have life changing affects. For example, some people think that it is a disadvantage to buy a home because it usually results in one securing a long-term loan whereby a monetary commitment is required from the borrower or homeowner. If this commitment is broken or one is unable to pay as agreed, the borrower or homeowner can lose valuable assets, seriously hinder their ability to borrow money in the future and be looked upon by the banking and financial community as a liability or risk. On the other hand, or some of the advantages of buying a home may result in credit worthiness, proves that you are trustworthy, disciplined and according to Weintrub (2010), “gives one a sense of pride in ownership, stability and security” (para. 2.).
