There are many various brands of computing devices that are available to consumers on the market today. There is Microsoft products, Google products, and many others. However, one of the greatest pioneers of the technology industry is the company Apple. Apple is known for having top of the line products that are relatively expensive for their place in the market. Consumers believe that there are a significant amount of benefits to purchasing products that are a little more expensive. Some of the greatest benefits to purchasing Apple products include the fact that you are going to have a greater amount of customer service to update and keep your machine running, you are going to have access to the proprietary software for a higher quality computer, and you are going to be a part of the community of other Apple product users. Apple is truly regarded as one of the best products on the shelves at this time.
One of the greatest advantages that consumers gain from utilizing Apple computing products includes the fact that the customer service is highly trained and capable of helping out with any unforeseen issues. If you have ever owned a computer or a smart mobile device, then you know how many things can potentially go wrong with the device. Some of the problems can range from internal programming problems, to external hardware challenges. There are examples of state owned companies that are bigger. Saudi Arabia’s state oil company is significantly larger, for example. But the magnitude of the Apple, combined with the volatility of its stock price, has interested me enough to attempt to understand it, along with some concepts about stock market as a whole. The price of a share of a publicly traded company is determined just like any other product or service in a market place. If the demand for shares of a company is greater than the supply of shares for sale, the price goes up. If the supply exceeds demand, the price goes down. One of the reasons that the price of individual stocks, also commonly referred to as “equities”, can be so difficult to predict is that a stock’s price is determined by human behavior, which is often unpredictable and irrational. This study evaluates two theories attempting to explain the deviation in H&M customers’ behavior-patterns. The first theory suggests that the customers’ behavior is attitude-bound and learned-taught through the customer-company interaction. The second theory argues that H&M customers belong to a genuinely unique market segment. The researcher surveyed 160 shoppers at H&M and one of the department stores and used a grounded-theory approach to analyze the data.
