Mexico City
Mexico City is an authentic Mexican restaurant that is just a four minute walk from Coors Field in Denver! Mexico City is located on 21st and Larimer and is the perfect place to take your family for any type of gathering, also a great place to visit before or after a Rockies game! My father introduced me to Mexico City my freshman year of College. My very first bite of that cheesy greasy steak taco I was hooked! Not only are their prices exceptional but their cuisines are scrumptious and the staff is attentive and welcoming!
When I walk into Mexico City it has somewhat of a Southwestern feel to it. It almost reminds me of my own grandmother’s house; it feels like home warm and welcoming. With the tan walls a slightly dim dining area and the green and red dried chilies tied to tough rope hanging on the walls, plus the bar at the front of the restaurant. That delicious aroma of Mexican food lingering in the air makes my glands water like crazy! What I like the most about it is that no matter where you are sitting at Mexico City you can see every single table in the restaurant! Mexico City is famous for their appetizing steak tacos! The steak tacos are fried corn tortillas filled with slices of steak, seasoned to perfection, and melted cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and a semi- cheesy sauce that just adds the perfect touch! I assume this is the chef’s secret ingredient. Don’t forget the taco sauce! The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food that you get. On average you spend $30 for two adults for an order of four steak tacos. They also have beef and chicken tacos to offer they are just not as popular. The staff is always very smiley and inviting. They are always looking to satisfy their customers by being speedy and accurate. The staff at Mexico City is very good at keeping things…...

Cash Is Better Than Equity

...1163 경영학연구 제40권 제5호 2011년 10월(pp. 1163~1184) Is Cash better than Equity as Takeover Payment? - Learning from Korean Cases Seong-Ho Cho Professor, College of Business Administration Hongik University (shcho11@hongik.ac.kr) ……………………………………………………………………………… This paper examines the relationship between the abnormal stock returns upon announcement and the choice of takeover payment methods, say, cash or equity, for the Korean mergers and acquisitions during 1996-2008 in which for some period, say, 1996-2000, liquidity is very scarce and market is uncertain. We test two hypotheses; first, whether equity payments reduce bidders’ firm value; second, whether cash payments are more (or less) likely preferred by the target shareholders who are facing high uncertainty. Unlike US experience, we fail to find statistical evidence that equity offers reduce bidders’ firm value. Further, while the bidder shareholders gain on average wealth of 1.8% from the M&A transactions, whether they pay in cash or equity, they earn positive 0.1% or 3.5% gain, respectively. These results contradict to the conventional asymmetric information model where market valuation of bidder’s equity plays an important role for the determination of payment alternatives. While examining the wealth gains of target shareholders, we find statistical evidence that cash payments are preferred to equity payments. Further, if they are paid by cash (equity), they earn 6.2% (-5.1%) gain. We conclude that under the......

Aristocracy: Better Than Democracy?

...mandates. [edit]Participatory politics Main article: Participatory politics A Parpolity or Participatory Polity is a theoretical form of democracy that is ruled by a Nested Council structure. The guiding philosophy is that people should have decision making power in proportion to how much they are affected by the decision. Local councils of 25–50 people are completely autonomous on issues that affect only them, and these councils send delegates to higher level councils who are again autonomous regarding issues that affect only the population affected by that council. A council court of randomly chosen citizens serves as a check on the tyranny of the majority, and rules on which body gets to vote on which issue. Delegates can vote differently than their sending council might wish, but are mandated to communicate the wishes of their sending council. Delegates are recallable at any time. Referendums are possible at any time via votes of most lower-level councils, however, not everything is a referendum as this is most likely a waste of time. A parpolity is meant to work in tandem with a participatory economy. [edit]Cosmopolitan Main article: Cosmopolitan democracy Cosmopolitan democracy, also known as Global democracy or World Federalism, is a political system in which democracy is implemented on a global scale, either directly or through representatives. An important justification for this kind of system is that the decisions made in national or regional democracies......

Two Parents Are Better Than One

...Two parents are better than one There are more and more parents who are divorced or they never marriage but have children. In my opinion, two parents are better than one. Not only are children with two parents better off emotionally, financially, medically, etc., than children of single parents, children of married parents fare better than children of unmarried parents living together. The children of happy marriages are much healthier in the term of mental than the children of divorced parents or the children of single parents who were never married. In an article from Rhona Mahony, she writes that: “Researchers interview 60 recently divorced couples who are experiencing such trouble with their separation that they have sought counselling from a professional psychologist. One -third of the parents have generally adequate mental health. An additional 15 percent of the men and 20 percent of the women have severe mental illness, such as paranoid thinking or manic-depressive disorder.” (www.stanford.edu ) She also argued that: “The researchers discover that after the divorce, many of the children in those families have trouble in school and struggle with intense feelings of anger and sorrow.” (www.stanford.edu) It can be seen from the research that not only parents have mental illness but also children. In addition, Mohony refers to Second Chances (Wallerstein),......

To Give Is Better Than to Receive

...To Give Is Better Than To Receive Today’s society is plagued with a disease called homelessness. This can be a great downfall of modern society. Homelessness has been more common in most countries today. Due to this and some experiences I have encountered, I came to a realization that to give is better than to receive. Sometimes people do not fully understand a maxim or a dictum until they have a personal encounter that made them comprehend the concept fully. About six months ago a tragic event happened to one of my relatives. My uncle and his family had become homeless. This unfortunate event affected their lives immensely. This not only affected their family but also their relative family, including myself. They struggled with everything. It came to one day where they got evicted out of their house and got their cars taken from them because they were unable to pay for it. My uncle had no job and my aunt was the only one in the household working. Life was not easy for them at all. Some say that the most common reasons people end up in homelessness is because of lack of education, poor work habits, shortage of affordability, mental illnesses, or just plain old bad luck. In their case the cause of them being homeless is still unknown and to me fell under the reason of just plain old bad luck. Upon hearing such tragic news, my family and I took it upon ourselves to help out in every and any way possible. We helped them financially and housed them in our house for a long......

Better Than Store Bought

...Erica Scott Instructor Emily Stallings Communication Skills October 5, 2010 Better Than Store-bought I can relate to many things in Barbara Kingsolver’s book Animal, Vegetable, Miracle since I come from a small town where farming and knowing almost everyone around you is the norm. In chapter 13 Barbara talks about canning tomatoes, which I have had some experience with. In fact, I helped my mom just this past August with her canning. Almost every year around August our kitchen has a distinctive tomato scent that hits you as soon as you walk through the door. The scent fills the whole house and there is not one room that doesn’t have the smell of tomatoes reaching your nose. This year my Paw-Paw brought his homegrown tomatoes down to us to can since we quit gardening a few years ago. I completely agree with Barbara Kingsolver’s statement when she says, “Fresh garden tomatoes are so unbelievably tasty, they ruin us utterly and forever on the insipid imports available in the grocery.” (198). From the first time I tasted a homegrown tomato the taste of a store bought one was never the same. Towards the end of chapter 13 Barbara talks about how to can tomatoes. This is a fairly simple process that went along with how my mom taught me to can. First, you wash the tomatoes. Next, you dip 6 to 8 tomatoes into boiling water for about 30 seconds. Upon taking them out they are to be placed in ice cold water, which peels the skin right off. Then, using a knife, you cut the core......

Two Is Better Than One

...everything you do and words you say You know that it all takes my breath away And now I'm left with nothing So maybe it's true, that I can't live without you And maybe two is better than one But there's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life And you've already got me coming undone And I'm thinking two, is better than one I remember every look upon your face,  The way you roll your eyes, the way you taste You make it hard for breathing 'Cause when I close my eyes and drift away I think of you and everything's okay And finally now, believing And maybe it's true, that I can't live without you Well maybe two is better than one But there's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life And you've already got me coming undone And I'm thinking two, is better than one Yeah, yeah I remember what you wore on our first day You came into my life And I thought hey Maybe it's true, that I can't live without you Maybe two is better than one But there's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life And you've already got me coming undone And I'm thinking Oooh I can't live without you 'Cause baby two is better than one There's so much time, to figure out the rest of my life And I've figured out with all that's said and done Two, is better than one Two is better than one....

Bicycles Are Better Than Cars

...I talk about bikes a lot. I think some people around me are kind of tired of hearing me talk about how great bikes are all the time. I believe bicycles are better than cars. I know some bike advocates still drive cars and get a little touchy about that. I used to drive a car. Growing up in Estacada, it seemed like there was an unwritten law that said "you must drive a car." I obeyed without question. I never even thought about it. One day when I was driving to work, I started noticing the cyclists around me and realizing that I was polluting the atmosphere and wasting resources and they weren't. I realized that I was contributing to the rising rate of asthma and that they weren't. They were part of the solution. I was part of the problem. I knew that the only solution was to buy a bicycle and start commuting by bike. Motor vehicle use degrades the environment in a number of ways, but bicycle use does not. Noise pollution, for instance, is a real problem for those living near highways, but bicycles produce no noise. Congestion creates stress for motor vehicle users, pedestrians, and cyclists, but bicycling does not significantly add to congestion. Adding extra lanes to existing roadways and building limited-access highways can degrade or even destroy neighborhoods. Creating bikeways or adding shoulders to roads, can be used for cycling, and have beneficial effects. Motor vehicles are the primary cause of air pollution in the US, but bicycles produce none. And carbon......

Brain Is Better Than Beauty

...IT IS BETTER TO HAVE BRAIN THAN BEAUTY ‘Knowledge is power’ and brain is the container of knowledge. A man is different from a beast only for his brain that makes him learn to differentiate between good and evil. Physical beauty is an added quality. Life is enlightened for brains and not for beauty. A beautiful appearance with dull brains is of no use. On the other hand, a bugle appearance having a powerful brain can produce something for human welfare. So, brains have got prominence over beauty. Beauty and brains are two vital factors foe humans. Someone would prefer having beautiful and good looking appearance and feel they are very lucky. On the other hand, someone would prefer having brains. I would prefer having brains than beauty. Beauty is a comparative idea. Someone may be exceptionally beautiful wouldn’t last for life-time. One’s physical beauty can easily be abated. So the stability of physical attraction is not getting guarantee for life-time. If a beautiful women or a handsome man loses physical attraction, she or he would fail getting response from other people. It is sometimes said that brain or talent is god-gifted thing. If it is such a thing, it requires nourishment properly. If one’s brain is not is not used, he or she is surely to be a worthless creature. Through use or practice of brain a man can do lot for himself, for his society, for his country and even for the world. A man who can do a lot for himself, for have physical beauty necessarily. A man of......

Books Are Better Than Films

...of her dreams, as she has always wanted to get away from California because of the dejected life she led, especially in high school. Chandra, her kind-hearted roommate helps her adapt to her new surroundings, as she helps Nicole in learning the layout of the campus, and adjusting to her new life within the university, in and out of class hours. All is going well for our heroine, but her relief and happiness slowly evaporates into thin air as she hears some very unfortunate news; there has been a series of abductions within the university. Three girls have been abducted in the last year, only to return unharmed, and with no memory of it, which is totally bizarre and suspicious. This means Nicole has more responsibilities and dedication than just going to class and working towards her dream of being a lawyer; she could be next on the abductor’s list so whilst gambling her safety for the sake of everybody in the university, she gets down to work to investigate and find out who’s been taking the girls and why. This is the aspect of the suspense genre, and how it blends well with the other life simulations, which is how this game straddles a lot of genres, like mystery, crime and detective, whilst following a young lady through her first semester at university, which most of the players relate to, reason for them to get engrossed in solving the mystery at the same time living the college life they fantasize through Nicole in my opinion. My first impression of Nicole was......

Tablets: Better Than Books

...Valen Schaefer Bryan Feliciano Rosa Tables: Better than Books The focus of our group project revolves around the notion that tablets, regardless of type and name brand, are more beneficial and easier to use than regular textbooks. Textbooks have been a way of life for generations. Many of you may remember carrying 4-6 books in your backpack every week from Monday to Friday during school. In college, you would normally have to purchase the textbooks you’ll need for whatever classes you’re taking. And some of those textbooks are hundreds and hundreds of pages long. This was never really an issue in the past, but now, all this has been made simpler thanks to the advent of tablets. Our group will discuss the history of the tablet, its cost effectiveness and weight savings over textbooks, how it’s easier to find information for any research you may be doing, and how some of the schools have begun integrating the use of tablets. The very first tablet PC was introduced during the 1980s, in those days however, it was referred to as pen computing. Pencept is the name of the company that’s often credited with creating the first pen computer. The company teamed up with CIC in 1985 to create a line of PCs that used handwriting recognition technology. Windows pen computing came in the 1990s, but the application had limited use and sold in small numbers. It wasn’t until 2002 that...

Why Cats Are Better Than Dogs

...Why cats are better than dogs Many people today own a pet or some sort, but the most popular are dogs and cats. Everyone has their own particular reason for their choice of pet, but I prefer cats over dogs because cats are more independent than dogs. Firstly you never have to worry about trying to fit in 2 or 3 walks every day because with cats you don’t need that. For example, if you were tired or sick and you had a dog, you would still need to walk him/her. Or, it would cost money to hire someone else to walk your dog and it is a headache to arrange. Lastly you could put down enough food and drink and the cat would eat and drink when hungry or thirsty. A dog, on the other hand wouldn’t be able to regulate how much it should eat. Also a cat can go to the bathroom in a litter box, but a dog would need someone to take it out on a walk in order to go to the bathroom. Secondly cats are much quieter pets than dogs especially during times when you want to sleep or relax. For example; let’s say an individual has a tiring day of work and wants to relax. They finally get comfortable when their dog hears a sound outside or sees another dog and starts barking uncontrollably whereas cats keep any moods they have to themselves. Cats do not feel a need to share their opinions with everyone around them. They keep quiet and do not bother with meowing at strangers. When friends arrive at your home, a dog goes into frenzy, barking, leaping and pawing at the newcomer. While the dog does......

Are Five Heads Better Than One?

...Case Study: Are Five Heads Better than One? In this case study, five employees are chosen by the marketing firm, Advert, to create a commercial for one of the firm’s most important clients. Advert’s management handpicked the five employees, Evan, Conner, Alexis, Derek and Judy based on their similar talents, personalities, and biographical features. The management’s confident team selection resulted in awarding the group complete autonomy throughout the entire project. Unfortunately, due to Conner’s leadership style and the negative effect of team consensus, which lead to groupthink, the homogeneous team failed in delivering an appropriate commercial. The team’s project was met with extreme disapproval, ending the working relationship between Advert and the client. The Advert team had been plagued with many detrimental issues that contributed to the poor performance of the team, all of which could have been prevented by both management and the selected team members. The team suffered from internal problems in the early stages of forming and storming. During the forming stage, the team experienced a great deal of uncertainty. Connor immediately took control of the leadership role and presented what he envisioned the commercial to be. Although Alexis, Judy, Evan and Derek were all reluctant to accept Connor’s idea, they were more reluctant to express their disapproval. This group conformity inhibits the creative brainstorming and decision-making process,......

Are Girls Better Than Girls

...Smarter Than Boys Ok so there is a debate that is explaining how girls are better than boys. And even though there is a lot of evidence supporting that claim, i think that they are wrong. There are many reasons explaining that girls are not smarter than boys. And guess what most men can reach to higher levels of jobs the women can get. So that would mean that means that since they can get to higher levels, than that means that they are smarter. SO i am going to be telling you reasons why i think boys are smarter. One reason, is that in the article in cbs new, they state that girls would most likely be nurses while boy will be doctor. And girls would most likely be stenographers but not CEO’s. Also most girls turn out to be teachers and not principals. So basically what im trying to state is that boys can go way higher than girls. And to require to be at those levels than you have to be very smart and have a masters degree for them. And the thing is that while i was watching a video in the news about it, they said that girls would double check their work and stuff like that. But its not like the boys are dumb and dont know what to do. Its just that boys are lazy and we can be able to do the same things that girls can do. Boys are just like this, sure we do a lot of horse play we we can do the same things girls do. In this video that i watch in the news. They said the girls can be like more organized and have better thinking than boys.......

Are Women Better Doctors Than Men

...Are women better doctors than men? A lot of stereotypes still remain in todays society, one being in the medical field. If you google up the images for „doctor“ or „surgeon“, mainly pictures of men show up. A lot of television shows and movies show the men as doctors and the women as nurses. I wanted to know why that steroetype existed. After some research, I found out, that dating back to the 1800’s, it was actually men who were the earliest nurses. There were not a lot of men in the field before the 1950’s when men begun to enter the field. After some time the stereotype started appearing. A study from the University of Montreal found out that there may be a real difference between care provided between female and male doctors. Female doctors are more likely to follow guidelines and they score higher on care and quality. Other research found out that female doctors show greater empathy towards their patients and tend to be better listeners. However, the researchers also found that among male doctors the productivity was greater that among female doctors, with up to 1000 more procedures being done by male doctors than female doctors each year. But this can lead to procedures that are unfinished and done too carelessly. Which, in turn, can lead to patients leaving unsatisfied and retuning for antoher procedure. In conclusion the stereotype is incorrect and women make better doctors than men because they care more about individual patients rather than cycling......
