Ilang beses ng nag-away
Hanggang sa magkasakitanNa 'di alam ang pinagmulan
Pati maliliit na bagayNa napag-uusapan
Bigla na lang pinag-aawayan
Ngunit kahit na ganito
Madalas na 'di tayo magkasundo
Ikaw lang ang gusto kong makapiling
Sa buong buhay ko

Chorus:
Kahit na binabato mo ako ng kung anu-ano
Ikaw pa rin ang gusto ko
Kahit na sinasampal mo ako't
Sinisipa't nasusugatan mo
Ikaw pa rin
Walang ibaAng gusto kong makasama
Walang iba
Walang iba
Nagsimula sa mga asaran
Hanggang sa magkainitanIsang eksenang bangayan na naman
Ba't ba kase pinagpipilitan
Walang ibaAng gusto kong makasama
Walang iba
Kahit na binabato mo ako ng kung anu-ano
Ikaw pa rin ang gusto koKahit na sinasampal mo ako't
Sinisipa't nasusugatan moIkaw pa rinWalang ibaAng gusto kong makasama
Walang iba
Wag ka ng mawawalaHmm, walang iba

The Heart

...you give your friends valentines and little heart-shaped candies on Valentine's Day? Do you ever cross your heart when making a promise that you really, really mean? Or turn on the radio to hear a guy singing about his broken heart? We see and hear about hearts everywhere. A long time ago, people even thought that their emotions came from their hearts, maybe because the heart beats faster when a person is scared or excited. Now we know that emotions come from the brain, and in this case, the brain tells the heart to speed up. So what's the heart up to, then? How does it keep busy? What does it look like? Let's find out. Working That Muscle Your heart is really a muscle. It's located a little to the left of the middle of your chest, and it's about the size of your fist. There are lots of muscles all over your body — in your arms, in your legs, in your back, even in your behind. But the heart muscle is special because of what it does. The heart sends blood around your body. The blood provides your body with the oxygen and nutrients it needs. It also carries away waste. Your heart is sort of like a pump, or two pumps in one. The right side of your heart receives blood from the body and pumps it to the lungs. The left side of the heart does the exact opposite: It receives blood from the lungs and pumps it out to the body. You probably guessed that the blood just doesn't slosh around your body once it leaves the heart. It moves through many tubes called......

Heart

...What is coronary heart disease? Coronary heart disease is the name for the disease in which your hearts blood supply is blocked or partially blocked by a build-up of fatty acids, such as cholesterol and other waste substances, in the coronary arteries. This makes the arteries narrower and restricts blood flow. Arteries are ‘tubes’ that carry blood away from the heart. The coronary arteries are the first vessels that branch off from the aorta. The aorta is the largest artery in the body. It transports and distributes oxygen rich blood to all arteries. The coronary arteries extend from the aorta to the heart walls supplying blood to the heart itself because like all other muscles the heart needs nutrients and oxygen too. Despite all the blood that flows through the heart, the heart can’t use any of the nutrients and other necessities from it, which is why it needs its own arteries. The chance of getting coronary heart disease is increased if you: * have high blood pressure * have a high blood cholesterol level * do not take regular exercise * have diabetes * have a family history of CHD * are obese/overweight * smoke Coronary heart disease can cause: * Chest pains – CHD can also cause Angina, a condition that causes severe pain in the chest. * Restricted blood flow in arteries – This can cause a fatal rhythm disturbance. * Faster and irregular heart beat * Nausea * Heart attacks What is a heart attack? A heart attack occurs......

Broken Heart "Story of an Hour"

...Brooke Allen Professor Rita Wisdom English 1302.20055 17 October 2013 Broken Heart, “The Story of an Hour.” A beautiful, young, fair skinned woman died of heart disease. How could someone so young and potentially full of life have a heart disease that would kill? The question is though, what kind of heart disease did she die from, physical or emotional? Louise died from an emotional heart disease, in other words a broken heart. Some would say Mrs. Louise Mallard from “The Story of an Hour” was relieved when she heard her husband had been killed in a tragic accident and she died when she saw her husband clearly alive walk in the front door, her heart shattered at the realization she would no longer be free. Louise was relieved when she heard the new that her husband had died because she had always felt trapped. Back in this day and age, making marriage meant for some women a form of slavery. “When she hears the news of her husband’s death, Mrs. Mallard’s obliviousness to the beauty of life breaks down under the powerful impact of emotion.”(Jamil.pg215) Before this moment she didn’t even think there was a reason to live anymore. But now as she sits in the bathroom daydreaming out the window she can see all the possibilities. In an article by Jennifer Hicks called “An overview of “The Story an Hour”” it makes a very good point that “Mrs. Mallard is not “paralyzed” by the significance that she is alone.”(Hicks) Which also shows that she was not in shock like some......

Heart

...There are many parts to a human heart. Each structure of the heart has a different function and a different location. The hearts size is the about the size of a human fist. It takes in deoxygenated blood through the veins and brings it to the lungs to get oxygenated and then pumps it into the various arteries. The heart is in a fluid filled cavity called the pericardial cavity. The walls and the lining of the heart are membranes which are called pericardium. Its function is to lubricate the heart and to prevent friction between the heart and the other organs of the human body. It has two layers, a visceral layer that covers the outside of the heart and a parietal layer that creates a sac on the outside of the pericardial cavity. The heart wall has three layers. The first outer layer is called the Epicardium. It is the thin layer that helps lubricate and protect the outside of the heart. The muscular middle layer of the heart is called the Myocardium. Its function is to pump the blood. The third layer that lines the inside of the heart is called the Endocardium. Its responsibility is to keep blood from sticking to the inside of the heart which could form blood clots. The heart has four chambers. Those chambers include the right atrium, the left atrium, the right ventricle, and the left ventricle. The atria are smaller, and the walls are less muscular and thinner. They are connected to the veins because they are the receiving chambers...

The Broken Heart Analysis

...“The Broken Heart” Analysis In John Donne’s poem, “The Broken Heart”, Donne shows the predacious nature of love and the true faintness of the heart through the use of metaphors. This poem sets a mood of despair and sorrow; moods that reveal the regret of love. It opens the reader’s eyes to realize just how vulnerable the heart can be when dealing with love. Donne associates love with the negative; he portrays it as some evil entity that overtakes people without warning and, if not careful, destroys them from the inside, out. In the first stanza of Donne’s poem, he describes how long the oh-so-terrible phenomenon of love lasts. He compares it to the plague and claims it has stuck with him for an entire year. He states that anyone who claims to have only been in love an hour, or a short duration at all, “is stark mad.” Donne makes a clear point that love simply cannot decay so soon. He compares the duration of love to a flask of powder burning in one day. I assume that it would take quite some time to use an entire flask of powder given the context of the text [small amounts of gun powder was used in the 1700’s and 1800’s for guns each time they were to be fired, and unless one of the soldiers chambered every round as fast as a sub-machine gun, it is very unlikely that they would have gone through an entire flask in one day]. Stanza two reveals Donne’s ideas about the characteristics of love and the heart. He says that once the heart has fallen into the hands of love,......

How to Mend a Broken Heart

...How to mend a broken heart Going through a heartbreak can feel like being underwater when you need to breath. Mending a broken heart is not an easy quick process and can be time consuming. The person in this situation can feel there is no light at the end of the tunnel. A broken heart can be caused by one of many devastating occurrences or scenarios in life, such as the passing of a loved one, losing/not getting your dream job or the infamous breaking up with your significant other, which this essay will concentrate on. People build their lives with someone they trust and care for, and then, in a blink of an eye, it can be. This can leave most people angry and sorrowful, questioning themselves and possibly their future. Once a person has past the grieving stage and the hours of crying themselves to sleep, then this person must give themselves some “me time”. They must make time for themselves. People sometimes get caught up in a routine with their daily lives, especially after a break up. They should take a weekend and do things that make them happy, whether it’s hiking, biking, cooking or hanging out with friends that make them happy. Doing things that you love will not only distract a person from the heartache but can help a person realize they can be happy again. Writing down one’s feelings in a journal is a good coping mechanism. It can purify the mind through expression, thus resulting in happiness. Understanding and forgiving are major contributing factors in......

Mending a Broken Heart

...Mending a Broken Heart Admit that these are the five usual things we do after break-ups, listening to sentimental music, thinking of getting back together, looking at the pictures of your exes, excessive eating and changing lifestyle. Mending a broken heart is never easy but aren’t these masochistic? Don’t they just add up to the pain? Just like what other say “time will heal the pain” but isn’t the meantime turning out the mean time? Break-ups are really disillusionment and a good cry simply can’t allocate the pain and surely, morphine won’t help. And though it can make you numb, even liquors can’t drown your sorrows. But whether you did the break-up or you are the one who gets’ busted, there are ways to make your situation somewhat easier to bear so you can move on. One thing is to never fantasize about your getting back together, remember that assuming and expecting is the root of all heartaches. The first and hardest part of moving on is to dispose everything that reminds you of your ex: pictures, favourite music together, monthsary or anniversary gifts, couple shirts, letters, everything! And cutting all the lines of communication as well as blocking him/her on your facebook. Never mind if he/ she will feel you’re bitter because this is the fastest way of moving on. Next is to make yourself busy. Instead of locking yourself up in your room, spend time doing necessary things like working, sporting, exercise/jog and bonding with friends. Another good option is going......

The Heart of a Broken Story

...The heart of a broken story. PLOT. This story is about a writer who fails in his attempt to write a lovely tender boy- meets- girl story for Collier´s. He tries several pieces of writing with different plots each but he finds out at the end that his objective was unaccomplished. He finds really difficult to get Justin Horgenschlag ( a thirty-dollar-a-week- printer´s assistant and Shirley Lester ( as pretty as a picture)together, so he tries different way of doing it. He tries to make thme meet but they resist to it because of their on nature and due to being completely different. Justin Horgenschlag was a thirty-dollar-a-week printer´s assistant, who felt completely in love with Shirley Lester at first sight. She was a twenty years old ( eleven years younger than Justin), was five-foot-four (bringing her head to level of Horgenschlag´s eyes), weighed 117 pounds (light a leather to carry). She was an stenographer, lived with and supported her mother. Agnes Lester, an old Nelson Eddy fan. She was as pretty as a picture. He had neither the looks, personality of good clothes to gain Shirley´s interest under the circumstances to steal her heart. the writer tried diferrent options to get them together which were at the end failures. Broken Heart Stats Report

...have a “broken heart”? Most people understand that having a “broken heart” references a state of extreme grief or sorrow, typically caused by the death of a loved one or the ending of a romantic relationship. But is there any additional truth to this saying? This study examines the medical implications of having a ‘broken heart’ by establishing a correlational relationship between the loss of a romantic partner and the mortality rates of widowers due to heart-related diseases. By tracking the mortality rates of 4,486 widowers of 55 years of age and older, over a period of 9 years, the researchers made some interesting findings: that within the first 6 months of bereavement, the mortality rate for widowers was 40% above that for matched controls, and that the greatest increase in mortality during these first 6 months came from heart-related diseases. No significant conclusions could be made about the relationship between the cause of wife’s death and the cause of her widower’s, nor about the impact of social class on widower’s mortality rate. We also examine the study’s methodology and provide reasonable recommendations to some of its shortcomings. One practical application of statistics and probability is in the area of medical research. In ‘Broken Heart: A Statistical Study of Increased Mortality Among Widowers’, published by the British Medical Journal, researchers wanted to find out if one could really ‘die of a broken heart’. To......

Broken Dreams

...Broken Dreams Essay         In the essay Broken Dreams by WB Yeats a strong connection to the themes and ideas of Romanticism are shown through the concern with the sublime. The idea of incoherent darkness is portrayed seamlessly in the description of the last stroke of midnight dying. The mysterious battle between the greatness of life and how time slipped too quickly from the beauty portrayed further gives insight to an underlying theme of finding escape from pressure. The repetition of the line “vague memories, nothing but memories” exemplifies the strong alienation the speaker now feels after his love has crossed over to the other side most anticipated.         The emotions and freedom that bloom over intellectual growth tends to mention the after life but never directly. The consequences towards godliness and its connection to the brief future that lies ahead for his past love, are always vague. The author suggests that his love for the woman is more than just physical motivations. He still shows that he is devoted to her (and to the beauty that she beholds) to write a poem about her, even though her physical loveliness has diminished. The alliteration of the word pair “Burdensome beauty” shows that she does not lose her prominent beauty to him or her other admirers. Even as her beauty slowly subsides, and he makes sure to stretch every moment of it to emphasize there is still something about her, thus making time a burden on her beauty. The poem consists of five......

Broken Heart

...In the poem “The Broken Heart” by John Donne, the speaker clearly has a broken heart. In this poem the author uses imagery to reveal his mournful, passionate, and saddened attitude toward his feelings about love. And you are able to see his heart slowly get broken as you read each stanza throughout the poem. In the first stanza, the speaker opens by saying that love is not something that is limited by time. When the speaker says: “He is stark mad,.../ That he hath been in love an hour,/ Yet not that love so soon decays,”, he is saying that love cannot be just turned on and off. If someone is in love, he cannot be in love for one minute but not the next. This also suggests that it only can take a minute to fall in love with someone or something. That is why many people use the phrase “Love at first sight”, because all it took was one glance at someone to make them fall in love. But in the line, “But that it can ten in less space devour;”, it also shows how love can devour a man. It can consume you and become so desirable that you may take very serious actions in order to embrace it. And that is why love is such a powerful thing. This is seen very often in movies and plays when a character puts themselves in harm’s way to protect their loved one. Also, heard in songs like Grenade by Bruno Mars, as he simply states he would catch a grenade for his lover. Not that I want to catch a grenade for anybody, but it is everyone’s goal to find a loving bond with someone or something......

How to Heal a Broken Heart

...I have had a few heartaches throughout my life: my parent’s divorce, moms breast cancer, grandpas death, and having a bad break up. Everyone in their life goes through at least one heartache, or what some people may call a “heart break” or “heartbroken.” Life always throws things at you that you need to learn to deal with, through my experiences I have learned a few tricks to get through the bad times and come out as a stronger person. The first step you have to do is give yourself time to be sad. Give yourself at least two days where you can cry all you want, eat chocolate, lay in bed, let all those emotions pour out. After those two days, the number one thing to make your self feel better is to look your best. Its proven that if you make yourself look good, you start to feel good, it also brings back some of your confidence. The second step, make sure you surround yourself with people that make you happy and are able to talk to. Talking about how you feel to people you trust keeps yourself from keeping your emotions inside, because if that happens then your thoughts and emotions boil up inside until your going to have an emotional break down. No matter what happens and how low you feel, never push your friends or family away because those are the people that are always there for you and truly want the best for you. Try and keep your mind of things; hang out with friends, take up a hobby, focus on school. Opening yourself up to new experiences opens you up to new......
