However, as I answered each question, I could not help but compare it to my career path, as well as my learning habits. That could be one reason to have the knowledge of these surveys, as a future employee. One could possibly them as a sort of aptitude tests, in order to see if a college major or career would be a good fit for them. For example, I read that my major, accounting, is excellent for someone with an ITSJ personality type. ...Career Report 3 The lifestyle that I am working to obtain is a very upscale preference. My childhood consisted of a lot of financial issues that I would like to never see again. I am currently learning about investments that could create a major cash flow, outside of my actual career job. The ideas that I plan on investing in consist of clothing designing, income property, flipped-homes, and valet parking accounts. The ideal situation for me, is to make more money without physically working outside of my actual career job. My family is really my main focus when I look to advance our income situation. I have two children currently and I expect to provide a lot more than what I had growing up. The biggest challenge is for me to become so stable, that there is no “panicking” when money is needed. The biggest difference between my childhood and my children will be a home purchase. My parent(s) did not ever think about purchasing a home and that’s all I think about. I want my children to understand that I will purchase instead of rent, because if all fails, they will have a home that can’t be taken away from them. My dream is to have two more children at some point, so I plan on purchasing a five-bedroom/3-4 bath home. I believe the size of this house will: 1.) be compatible for 4-8 people, 2.) have a big enough outdoor space for my student-athletes, and 3.) meet my standard of a home that I never had. FCFF will certainly be the most appropriate model to apply since debt is not directly considered in determining the cash flow whereas in the FCFE model, the value of net debt issued must be backed out. Furthermore, FCFF refers to cash flows available to investors so recent stock repurchase of $173 million can be ignored since stock repurchases refer to uses of those cash flows. However, if we ignore the effect of repurchase (common approach by analysts) in DDM, we may well under-estimate the value of equity. DDM or FCFE Discount Model? Must we choose one of the two, DDM is preferred. As mentioned earlier, FCFF is inappropriate due to a fluctuating leverage making it difficult to forecast future net debt issues.
