Apple has a wide range of apps, software and products that all have connection with each other. Especially, iOS system, it matches all of Apple products, such as ipod, ipad, iphone, MAC. The customers will prefer to buy Apple’s products for the convenience of using iOS system. It makes the customers become loyal to Apple.

2. Strong financial performance
Apple’s financial performance is one of the best among many companies. Company holds about $ 158.8 billion in cash (2014 Q1), which can be used for acquisitions, buying back company shares and other matters.

3. Agreements
Having strategic agreements with well-known mobile companies, like T-Mobile and AT&T.

4. Ease of use
Apple has friendly design elements for both hardware and software parts of iphone, such as, Siri, 3.5mm audio and so on.


1. High price
Apple’s products cost much more than its competitors devices. It becomes a weakness because consumers can easily choose lower price products with similar quality.

2. Less new products
Apple releases one phone per year, but other competitors release lots of products for various types per year.

3. Apps are controlled by iOS
Iphone is equipped with own Apple operation system, iOS. And Apps which work with IOS can only be downloaded from App Store.

Less concerned with keeping the phone palm-friendly, the 720p 4.8-inch monster screen of the Samsung Galaxy S5 does not compromise on size. Androids have bigger screens than IPhone. Like the Galaxy note which has 5.3” screen while IPhone only has 3.5" screen. But some android phones with big screen is kind of hard to use because of the big screen.
