Lab Report

1. Go to the Results Browser, select Results for Current Project. Select all three scenarios.
Expand DB Query and select Response Time (sec). Change the view from AS IS to time_average and select the Show button. Zoom in on the last two-thirds of the graph to eliminate start-up oscillation time and to get better granularity of the results. Copy and label this graph to your lab report. Then, use this graph to answer the following questions.

1. For the G.711 run, estimate the DB Response Time. 2. For the G.729 run, estimate the DB Response Time. 3. For the G.723.1 run, estimate the DB Response Time.
ALL three codecs have the exact response time. At the minute mark it was .25. At two minutes, it stabilized at around .22. Close the stat and hide the Show Panel.

2. Expand E-mail and select Download Response Time (sec). Change the view from AS IS to time_average and select the Show button. Zoom in on the last two-thirds of the graph to eliminate start-up oscillation time and to get better granularity of the results. Copy and label this graph to your lab report. Then, use this graph to answer the following questions.

4. For the G.711 run, estimate the E-mail Download Response Time. 5. For the G.729 run, estimate the E-mail Download Response Time. 6. For the G.723.1 run, estimate the E-mail Download Response Time. Close the stat and hide the Show Panel.
The way that the graph is posed, shows duplicate entries in the Y-Axis of the chart. With that in mind, All three codecs show similar numbers for results. Before stabilizing, it sat around .28. It drops to .27 at the two minute mark and remains there.

3. Expand Voice and select Traffic Received (bytes/sec). Change the view from AS IS to time_average and select the Show button.…...

Then use this answer to get the overall delay by taking into account the frame size delay and look ahead delay as outlined in the introduction. Note: a common mistake is to add millisecond to seconds. Be sure you convert your data to the same units (i.e., add seconds to seconds or milliseconds to milliseconds). 270 ms 11. Week 6 Ilab

...Week 6 iLab Grading Rubric In this week’s iLab, you will explore your own body and your knowledge of over the counter medications. I am not sure why these two things are grouped together in this iLab but they are! There are 3 sections to this iLab assignment. First, you will define what the term “BMI” means and then, you will calculate your own value and show the math work (or at least, explain how you arrived at your value). You will then, compare your individual BMI value to the standard tables and write up a short essay interpreting your value and defining whether you are underweight, normal weight or overweight. Once you have identified your weight status, you will then, detail an action plan for yourself, based on your values and your individual goals. Basically, depending on where your BMI values fall, you will write up a diet and exercise plan that helps you either gain weight, maintain your weight or lose weight. Plan must include both a dietary and physical activity component (3 sections of the iLab so far). Grading Rubric The breakdown for this 25 point iLab is as follows: Define BMI 4 points Calculate individual BMI (show equation and work) 6 points Compare & contrast BMI to standard tables and then, develop action plan for diet and physical activity based on your BMI assessment. Diet must include calories you will eat in one day as well as a snapshot of how you will eat. You must include the amounts and types of foods you plan on eating to...

Please also do not forget to define the actual term BMI! Part 2 Calculate BMI: Many students use an automated calculator to complete this part of the assignment. I will deduct points if I do not see the actual math calculations. Please include all stages of the math calculations associated with determining your BMI. Part 3 Compare/Contrast BMI & Individual Plan: There are three sections to this part of the assignment, and for the first part, you need to designate where your BMI falls according to the standard tables (underweight, normal, overweight, obese). In the second part of the assignment, you need to develop a dietary plan for your BMI value, and for the most part, you need to be as detailed as possible. Basically, I would like to see a “day in your life” according to where your current BMI falls. You need to include how many calories you plan on taking in and why, and you also need to develop a day’s worth of eating with specific foods and portions. As far as the exercise plan, again, you need to be as specific as possible. The goal of this section is to develop a plan that incorporates all of the components of a...

...discrete, the die has a countable number of possible out comes 2. Calculate the mean and standard deviation of the probability distribution created by rolling a die. Either show work or explain how your answer was calculated. Mean: 3.5 Standard deviation: 2.917 Mean =1(1/6+2(1/6)+3(1/6)+4(1/6)+5(1/6)+6(1/6)= Standard deviation= (1-3.5)^2(1/4)+(2-3.5)^2(1/4)+(3-3.5)^2(1/4)+(4-3.5)^2(1/4)+(5-3.5)^2(1/6)+(6-3.5)^2(1/6)=2.917 3. Give the mean for the mean column of the Worksheet. Is this estimate centered about the parameter of interest Mean = 3.560 Yes it is center around the parameter of interest. 4. Give the mean for the median column of the Worksheet. Is this estimate centered about the parameter of interest (the parameter of interest is the answer for the mean in question 2)? The mean for the median is 3.600 No. Not so much away from the parameter of interest it’s close to 3.5 of the mean of Q #2. 5. Give the standard deviation for the mean and median column. Compare these and be sure to identify which has the least variability? S/D for mean =0.476 S/D for median=0.754 The S/D mean has the least variability than the median 6. Based on questions 3, 4, and 5 is the mean or median a better estimate for the parameter of interest? Explain your reasoning. The mean is better. Because it is closer to the variability. 7. Give and interpret the 95% confidence interval for the hours of sleep a student......
