Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel has sought to move his team beyond past behavior problems into a new era. To do so, he made senior players accountable for making sure teammates act properly at all times.

Determine whether you agree or disagree with his approach. Support your reasoning. Propose ways that those without formal authority can manage others.

Making senior players responsible for making sure team players act as a team, can work if the senior player display effective leadership abilities and all other team members’ work effectively together in order to function as a team. As a senior, you are expected to act a certain way and hold teammates accountable for their play on the field. Seniors can lift their team by giving pep talks, holding team only meetings and support each other when one get into trouble. Through communication and substantial planning the team should be able to function as a great team.

Examine two different ways of managing group behavior problems. Determine which method you believe to be the most effective. Provide a rationale for your selection.

The first involves the individuals that make up the group and addressing responsibilities and rules. The goal of this is to insure that there is overload, underload, or conflict present within each individual’s perception of his or her role.

The second approach involves team building, focusing on identifying problems/opportunities, analyzing, planning, executing, and evaluating the results. Team building is aimed at improving team effectiveness and promoting a cohesive environment. All the team-building exercises in the world will not be successful if the fundamental building blocks of the team are not in line.…...

...we consider several efficiency measures related to the signal, including bandwidth efficiency and transmitter energy efficiency – not to be confused with the signal power efficiency. EVM The modulation quality metric error vector is defined as the difference vector between what the signal phasor should ideally be at a particular time and what the signal phasor actually is at that time. [1] As a metric, only the magnitude of this vector is used. The times at which EVM is evaluated can be selected to be the ideal symbol sampling instants, giving the EVM relation EVM rms  ˆ(kT  x )  x(kT ) k 1 S S L 2 (1)  x(kT ) k 1 S L 2 It is also possible to evaluate the signal EVM throughout the modulation waveform. This necessitates much finer sampling, and the corresponding relation changes to EVM rms  ˆ x n n n  xn 2 n 2 x (2) PDF If a signal has envelope (magnitude) variations when modulated, then there is a probability associated with what output power the transmitter is putting out at any particular instant (or brief interval) in time. This is the probability that the signal envelope has a particular value, and is known as the envelope probability density function (PDF). One example of a signal envelope PDF profile is presented in Fig. 2b. In general the PDF curve curvature characteristic at the zero magnitude end relates to PA design difficulty with regard to linearity: if the curvature of the PDF curve is positive () then......

...Advancement of Criminology was created, which later became the American Society of Criminology, a scholarly and scientific organization aimed at studying prevention and causes of crime and treatment of criminals (Crowe, 2014). During the twentieth century, two more theories in criminology were developed (Crowe, 2014). These theories are social-structural criminology and social-process criminology. Social-structural criminology studies how criminal behavior is affected by structures and/or social situations (Crowe, 2014). The idea behind this theory is that crime is a product of the deficiencies in social structure (Crowe, 2014). What Is a Criminologist? A criminologist is a sociologist or social scientist who 1) specializes in criminology and 2) studies social behaviors (Inglish, 2014). Each society has its own set of norms and deviations and these people examine the norms (most common behaviors) and the deviations from those norms of behavior (Inglish, 2014). A criminologist usually studies crime and law in college and earns at least one academic degree (an associate's, bachelors, master's, and/or a doctorate (PhD) degree) (Inglish, 2014). A criminologist provides theoretical explanations for the aberrant, delinquent, and criminal behaviors manifested in a population (Inglish, 2014). They analyze criminal law, criminal behavior, and the methods used by criminals to practice deviant behavior and break the law (Inglish, 2014). Criminologists work with a variety of levels......

People with any of these traits are more inclined to take from others. People with very low incomes may also take the money because they might feel it is a necessity to pay bills or even to feed their families. Teenagers might also steal the money because they are ignorant to the fact that they doing something wrong or they are just immature and don’t see how this is an unethical act. Another group of people that might take the money are those who have become addicted to stealing in general. They need to steal to get the drug-like rush and to gain self-satisfaction. People with Kleptomania are unable to resist the impulse to take things and the monetary value is not even considered when stealing. The ways these people might look/dress would vary a lot because there isn’t just one type of person that would take from the truck. The people that would not take from the truck include people with high morals and positive personality traits. People that are confident, fearless, helpful, trusting, humble, obedient, responsible, honest, courageous, ethical, self-disciplined, and committed are those that would most likely not take from the truck. The IGCE serves as the basis for reserving funds during the acquisition planning period. Which means that it is used for comparing costs or prices proposed by offerors or applicants. The IGCE also serves as an objectives basis for determining price reasonableness. ...Contemporary Business Strayer University Fatumata Fofana Dr. Michael Jackson Laverty Date: 05/24/15 Compare and contrast the two (2) industries you have identified in terms of size, products, services, customers, economic and regulatory environment. The two industries that I have identified are; Twitter and Google, Twitter is a "micro-blogging" tool, meaning you can share clever comments and content, but you must keep it brief (under 140 characters to be exact). Twitter has experienced exponential growth since it began. Twitter provides its users with many ways to segment content based on topic through the use of hashtags (e.g. #Infusionsoft), trending topics, saved searches, follower lists, and more. Twitter is a quite useful "listening" tool so you can see what your target audience is discussing, stay up to date on industry trends, and engage in conversation with those who talk about your company. The follow connection on Twitter may be initiated by an "offline" relationship, but it is just as likely to be created by a common interest. Twitter users follow industry experts and those with who teach or study the same topics that interest them. Though the bond between Twitter users is not as personal, active users generally have a larger circle of influence on Twitter than they might have on Facebook. Twitter also has search power, allowing users to search by topic, name, and more. Twitter also allows for more automation since tools like Hoot Suite allow you to......

Assignment 1: World View Chart Writing Assignment Tanisha Hayden Professor Sean-David McGoran World Religions 212 December 14, 2015 In the course of recent weeks there has been a lot of information about how diverse religions handle numerous themes, for example, human instinct, if there is a God or divine beings, great and detestable, and different ceremonies that are imperative to perform. This paper will take a gander at all the distinctive religions that we have concentrated on and directed through the semester, yet we will be looking at one particular classification and that is of the Afterlife in these religions. The one point that I discovered the most fascinating and illuminating is the way diverse religions handle the considered passing and if there is life after death. Religion all through history has tried to lighten this worry by clarifying what happens after death while also working it into the teachings of good, malevolence, mortality, and salvation. In spite of the fact that there is a wide assortment of convictions they can be contracted down to two focal conviction designs, the thought of resurrection or the thought of the individual heading off to an alternate other worldly plane, for example, the thought of Heaven and Hell. select one (1) category from the completed World View Chart. This assignment asks you to apply a six-step to problem solving process to a specific problem scenario. You will write a paper that presents a synthesis of your ideas about solving the problem using this systematic approach. As Voltaire said, "No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thinking." Scenario 2 Your child comes home from school with an assignment sheet for a school project. You read over the assignment sheet and notice that your child is not including all of the required items in the project, and you have some ideas for how to improve the quality of the presentation. You recently read an article in a parenting magazine about the importance of a child developing responsibility for his/ her own learning. You recall the many ways in which your parents took over your school projects. You, on the other hand, want to encourage your child’s confidence in his / her ability to complete a project independently.
