...Content Analysis: The data is analyzed to investigate the impact of selected hospitals and their characteristics on completeness and comprehensiveness of hospital SOPs (standard operating procedure) for the management of MCIs (mass-casualty incident) in Israel. No significant differences were found between the ratings of SOPs in relation to the different characteristics of hospitals analyzed. The SOPs do not affect management of MCIs. The population in which the data is drawn from is a parameter of hospitals in Israel. The method for collection data of SOP must be distributed among the different departments involved in management in these hospitals. The boundaries of the analysis are within a parameter of a team of emergency managers that manage MCIs in an effective manner. Health care professionals measured the quality of the SOPs for MCIs. The target of inferences is to better understand the relationship and insight of SOPs to facilitate procedures of MCIs. The results for SOPs of 24 hospitals had no relevance in emergency preparedness. The content of this article uses quantitative research in experimental design. The occurrence of selected characteristics and consistent word usage frequency is reliable and accurate. The results of the evaluation of the relationship of MCIs and the variables in relation to size, trauma, ownership, location, proximity, and population showed no significant relation. Example 1: TV violence An "interview" with a violent episode in a TV program might "ask" it questions such as: How long did you last, in minutes and seconds? What program were you shown on? On what channel, what date, and what time? Was that program local or imported? Series or one-off? What was the nature of the violent action? How graphic or realistic was the violence? What were the effects of the violence on the victim/s? Who did the violent act: heroes or villains? Men or women? Young or old? People of high or low social status? 9. Who was the victim/s: heroes or villains? Men or women? (etc.) 10. To what extent did the violent action seem provoked or justified? ...and so on. All the answers to the questions are available from watching the program. Notice that some of the criteria are subjective (e.g. the last one).
