Allusion
1)Faun-фавн
Is a rustic forest god or goddess (genii) of Roman mythology often associated with enchanted woods and the Greek god Pan.
The faun is a half human - half goat (from the head to the waist being the human half, but with the addition of goat horns) manifestation of forest and animal spirits which would help or hinder humans at whim.
2)Satyr-is one of a troop of male companions of Pan and Dionysus. He has goat-like features.
Fauns and satyrs were originally quite different creatures: whereas fauns are half-man and half-goat, satyrs originally were depicted as stocky, hairy, ugly dwarfs or woodwoses with the ears and tails of horses or asses. Satyrs also were more woman-loving than fauns, and fauns were rather foolish where satyrs had more knowledge.
3)Nymph –нимфа
In Greek mythology is a minor female nature deity typically associated with a particular location or landform. There are 5 different types of nymphs, Celestial Nymphs, Sea Nymphs, Land Nymphs, Wood Nymphs and Underworld Nymphs.
4)Book of Job-Книга Иовы
Сommonly referred to simply as Job, is one of the books of the Hebrew Bible. It relates the story of Job, his trials at the hands of Satan, his discussions with friends on the origins and nature of his suffering, his challenge to God, and finally a response from God.

4g Lte Implementation for Mobile Healthcare Units

...4G LTE Implementation for Mobile Healthcare Units Executive Summary The adoption of LTE from Verizon Wireless will empower the organization to be portable and maintain a fast, reliable, and secure connection among its mobile healthcare professionals. This will save money and allow for greater productivity. Business Problem with Benefits The Business problem that Tim and management have presented is that their business, a healthcare system, has doctors (both clinical and research) spread across western North Carolina and they sometimes do not have adequate infrastructure to transmit their research and clinical data (including data entry applications, medical images, videos, etc.) while in the field. Most of their devices that have been issued to the doctors are newer and they have in the budget to upgrade all devices by end of 2012 but they need to find an adequate connection medium that guarantees speed and portability. Benefits: Faster - More bandwidth using LTE Mobile - More convenience, accessible, and portable. Secure - By using a wireless connection with our existing Virtual Private Network (VPN), we can maximize security. Return on Investment - With this LTE implementation the return on investment would be significantly higher when compared to a wired backbone network. Business Solution with Technical Specifications We plan to use a customized LTE solution that connects mobile devices back to the main infrastructure. In order to do this we plan to......

Paper Describes About 4g and Lte

...ericsson White paper 284 23-3163 Uen | February 2012 Voice and video calling over LTE a step towards future telephony The GSMA IR.92 voice-over-LTE and GSMA IR.94 IMS conversational video specifications are the preferred industry choices for mass-market voice and video calling services over LTE, satisfying user expectations and providing the most advantageous solutions for operators. The specifications profile existing 3GPP IMS services, enhanced packet core and radio, and leverage telecom characteristics such as quality of service and global reach. VOICE services in MOBILE BROADBAND networks Mobile broadband has created a world of opportunities and opened up new revenue streams for operators. Opportunities are often coupled with challenges, and mobile broadband tests the position of communication services, such as voice, which today accounts for around 70 percent of operators’ annual revenue – about USD 650 billion – globally. The crucial question is how to take advantage of mobile broadband opportunities while at the same time maintaining and increasing revenue from communication services. LTE networks can deliver mobile broadband and communication services with greater capacity and lower latency. However, as there is no circuit-switched voice domain in LTE, the mobile industry will adopt a globally interoperable IP-based voice, video-calling and messaging solution for LTE, which also enables development of new innovative multimedia services. Some over-the-top......

Lte Complete Tutorial

...radio-electronics.com/) 3G LTE Tutorial - 3GPP Long Term Evolution - developed by 3GPP, LTE, Long Term Evolution is the successor to 3G UMTS and HSPA providing much higher data download speeds and setting the foundations for 4G LTE Advanced.. LTE, Long Term Evolution, the successor to UMTS and HSPA is now being deployed and is the way forwards for high speed cellular services. In its first forms it is a 3G or as some would call it a 3.99G technology, but with further additions the technology can be migrated to a full 4G standard and here it is known as LTE Advanced. There has been a rapid increase in the use of data carried by cellular services, and this increase will only become larger in what has been termed the "data explosion". To cater for this and the increased demands for increased data transmission speeds and lower latency, further development of cellular technology have been required. The UMTS cellular technology upgrade has been dubbed LTE - Long Term Evolution. The idea is that 3G LTE will enable much higher speeds to be achieved along with much lower packet latency (a growing requirement for many services these days), and that 3GPP LTE will enable cellular communications services to move forward to meet the needs for cellular technology to 2017 and well beyond. Many operators have not yet upgraded their basic 3G networks, and 3GPP LTE is seen as the next logical step for many operators, who will leapfrog straight from basic 3G straight to LTE as this......

Mobile Device Attacks

...Mobile Device Attacks and Their Effect on Your Personal Privacy CIS 4680- Security Issues Paper (Group 6) Over the last decade, smartphones have become more and more popular as the new handheld PC. With its processing power catching up with the PC, it brings much convenience to people’s daily life from fast access to latest information to efficient financial activities. However, with this increase in use of these functions, more security threats have aroused surrounding smartphones. As the mobile operation systems in different devices become more, it is opens more possibility for fast virus propagation and large scale damage. There have been several attacks targeting smartphones and it is a trend that hackers are moving the battlefield from PCs to smartphones because of promising profit and smartphones’ limitations for antivirus work. Hackers are migrating to the new smartphone platform for many reasons. Not only is the profit from smartphone hacking increasing, but as more consumers link their personal accounts (email, social networking, financial, etc.) to their smartphones, the private information of the users opens a window of opportunity. Hackers can infect smartphones to record phone calls, send and delete data messages, and spy on your phone’s activity. It does not only pose great security threats, but also causes an economic loss to common users. This definitely becomes a major issue when businesses are also taking advantage of the portable PC power of......

3 Gpp and 4g Lte

...Professor Name: Course Title: Date: In the timeline of mobile phone technology, 3G technology will always be tied to the introduction of the smart-phone; but as our Mobile phones evolve so does our technology.  Our society is a demanding one and for the technologically savvy those demands are in the form of mobility, connectivity and faster mobile technology. Compare and Contrast 3G Wireless Networks to 4G Networks We can compare and contrast 3G wireless networks and 4G networks in four areas: service and application, network architecture, data throughput and user perceptions.  Some examples of services offered by 3G wireless networks are CDMA2000, UMTS, and EDGE along with a list of others while 4G networks offer Wimax2 and LTE-Advance.  The applications are where a lot of users get hooked on technology.  3G opened a whole new realm of possibilities with applications allowing users to stream video and audio, video calling, video conferencing and a huge array of multimedia applications in the mobile environment.   4G applications include gaming services, amended mobile web access, high definition mobile television, video conferencing, IP telephony and even 3D television. One of the differences between these two standards of networks lies in the network architecture. The 3G mobile network is a Wide Area Cell Based network with a circuit-switched subsystem.  It relies on large satellite connections that connect to telecommunication towers.  For example, users make......

Laugh

...heart. Laws and regulations are tangled with bureaucracy and riddled with a rigidity that often leaves the individual alone and unrepresented. Modern Korean cinema has embraced the depiction of such societal frustrations, often choosing to downplay authority figures while indulging melodramatics. Favorable genres such as the seasonal horror and persistent gangster flicks, consistently contain themes of an inauthentic authorial agency that subverts social authority. Whilst I was watching, I realized that I find myself choked into a roller coaster ride of emotions - made me - at first - sob a bit and then eventually cried a river as I can't hold the gravity of emotions finding its way to burst out from my chest while equally giving me a laugh out loud moments due to its hilarious scenes. It's both a humorous and heart-wrenching film that shows how cruel and unfair a society can be to those who are intellectually impaired or should I say mentally handicapped. Miracle In Cell No. 7 is a heartwarming movie that presents a combo of comedy and melodrama about a mentally challenged father (Yong Gu) who loves his daughter (Ye Sung) so much - the former was wrongfully accused of a crime and was sent into prison. Later, Ye Sung studied law and works to prove her father's innocence. Worth -watching - this film really deserves recognition not only in Korea, but also in other countries as well. I'm hoping that it gains a pass to be shown in our country as it is something......

In the early days, only the rich and keen early adopters were able to own mobile phones, which were large in size, required a substantial source of power to operate and were limited in functionality and quite restrictive in terms of mobility. Today, over 5.6 billion subscribed devices are in active use, which represent approximately 80% of the world population and are rising. (Gartner) Improved reception power coupled with increased network coverage and penetration, global roaming capability, sharp quality, fitto-palm size with large screen and lightweight are the significants of today’s user terminals. Given such advances, the growth within the large increases of cellular use has been on mobile data. In 2011, the total mobile data service revenues were close to $315 billion (Gartner). LTE is a serious improvement in network architecture to handle this surge in demand and is embraced by all providers.......

Lte vs Wimax: the Future of Mobile Broadband in the United States

...LTE vs WiMax: The Future of Mobile Broadband in the United States LTE vs WiMax: The Future of Mobile Broadband in the United States High Speed Broadband Services (HSBS) is one of the rapid technological advancements the world has seen over the past century. The primary reason for HSBS was to deliver a high speed Internet service capable of supporting multimedia applications to the subscriber. During the latter part of this technological evolution, HSBS was mainly focused on wireless applications. This movement would latter be coined as Broadband Wireless Access (BAC). BAC was designed to provide services in a wireless environment capable of providing users with the same capability as that of wired broadband. Over the past decade, there have been major technological advances and innovations with wireless broadband such as LTE and WiMax. WiMax began as the standard for 4G technologies but has succumbed to LTE. As it stands, LTE is a more reliable system that has far greater potential than WiMax in the broadband wireless systems spectrum. History of WiMax To fully understand Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMax) you have to go back to the beginning where it all started. Cellular phone companies and service providers in the mid 1990’s were looking for alternative ways to provide Internet access to both businesses and individuals. They wanted to develop a system that was comparable to the capacity, speed and dependability of a......

'Dapper Laughs' Assembly

...Dapper Laughs As I begin this assembly, I must apologise to the house as a whole. This assembly does not have any motivational sporting or academic message, and unforgivably does not intertwine with current sporting events – with no reference to the staggering form of Wycombe Wanderers this season. So, as I have rudely broken this previously unmentioned tradition of Ridley House assembly, I can only reassure you that all shall be returned to normality next week. From Private Walker in Dad’s Army to Mickey Pearce in Only Fools and Horses, encompassing Gaz from Geordie Shore, Jay from The Inbetweeners, Mark Wright from TOWIE, and many more, audiences have habitually been entertained by the “woman-hungry geezer” character of popular culture. This product of 21st century Britain, characterised by stand alone augmented biceps, dressed usually in some form of vest top with ‘Hype.’ or ‘Ibiza’ scrawled across its front, with a haircut suspiciously similar to my own, these dubious alpha-males frequent most urban centres of the UK. But lads will be lads. Compared to similar figures of the past, there’s a moment in the opening credits of Happy Days where the Fonz approaches a mirror to perfect his quiff, then realises he is, in fact, already staring at the vision of perfection. Though such actions of the Fonz are ridiculous and ego-driven, they are loveable and above all – harmless. However, his perception that the opposite sex were mainly non-thinking vessels put on earth as future...

Lte Initial Access

...LTE Initial Access [pic] Like all mobile communication systems, in LTE a terminal must perform certain steps  before it can receive or transmit data. These steps can be categorized in cell search  and cell selection, derivation of system information, and random access. The complete  procedure is known as LTE Initial Access and is shown in the Figure below. After the initial  access procedure, the terminal is able to receive and transmit its user data. [pic] Initial synchronization [pic] Successful execution of the cell search and selection procedure as well as acquiring  initial system information is essential for the UE before taking further steps to  communicate with the network. For this reason, it is important to take a closer look at  this fundamental physical layer procedure. This section focuses on the cell-search  scheme defined for LTE and the next chapter describes reception of the essential  system information. As in 3G (WCDMA), LTE uses a hierarchical cell-search procedure in which an LTE  radio cell is identified by a cell identity, which is comparable to the scrambling code  that is used to separate base stations and cells in WCDMA. To avoid the need for  expensive and complicated network and cell planning, 504 physical layer cell identities  of is sufficiently large. With a hierarchical cell search scheme, these identities are  divided into 168 unique cell layer identity groups in the physical layer, in which each  group consists of......

The Last

...Benjamin Lucas COMM240 – Interpersonal Paper The Last I recall a brightly lit room on a Sunday morning, as I kissed her on the forehead, “I love you…” Slowly she opened her eyes and as she sat next to me, “Hey… Um… How many were there before me?” she asked. “Like, how many girls did you love before me?” “Love? Five…” I stated. “I loved five women before you.” The disappointment in her eyes after a sigh, though she smiled… “What are their names?” “…Who, What, When, Where, Why…” I said to her. “Can you tell me about them?” “Who I loved, was a girl from college. I wasn’t exactly close to her, but with some superficial facts and a few interactions over a semester, you know, like most guys fantasizing over girls they barely know, I filled in the blanks like a fairytale author. And who she became in my head was probably more than the reality. She was a third year, sorority girl, and yeah, I was an infatuated freshman, sure, but the several times you get to spend together outside of class… It really allowed me to see, she also had a good heart and a bright spirit. The only problem was, so did just about every other guy. And while she turned me down nicely, I swear… There were times when it seemed like the cliché sorority girl may have felt something for the typical awkward freshman.” “What I loved, was an old friend, but she was more than just a friend. We met early in college and kept in touch through the years. We saw each other grow, and change...
